85 Advisors acted as financial advisor to Riverside Insights, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors, on its acquisition of ImPACT Applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
ImPACT Applications
ImPACT Applications provides research-backed concussion assessments. Its ImPACT, ImPACT Pediatric, and ImPACT Quick Test products are FDA-cleared medical devices that medical centers, professional sports organizations, colleges, high schools, and military units use to assess and manage concussions. At the time of the acquisition, the company had administered more than 18 million tests since 2002.

Riverside Insights, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors, provides K-12 and clinical assessments, including the Woodcock-Johnson, Iowa Assessments, and CogAT. Adding ImPACT brings concussion assessment, used across education, healthcare, and sports, to Riverside’s set of research-based assessments.
